Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: January 2026
ToolCompared participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click on certain links on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the vendor — at no additional cost to you.
How Affiliate Links Work
Links marked as affiliate links (or any "Visit [Tool]" button) may earn us a commission. These links use tracking parameters to attribute the referral. We clearly label affiliate relationships where required by law using rel="sponsored" on outbound links.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content, scores, or rankings. We have given high scores to tools without affiliate programs and low scores to tools that pay us commissions. Our methodology is applied consistently regardless of commercial relationships.
Vendors cannot pay to improve their scores, rankings, or the content of their reviews.
FTC Compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We believe in transparency and want you to be aware of any financial relationships that could influence the content you read.
